December 2023
December was a short few weeks but we jammed in some fun!!! Santa and Mrs. Claus joined us for family photos! Zena Designs donated a fabulous backdrop of her camper, “Dezi” and everyone got to take home a great family photo provided by Carrina Lee Ramirez. We had Christmas Karaoke, stuffed donated backpacks with donated gift cards to Brenham Boutique for outfits, story books donated and written by Santa and Mrs. Claus, blankets, beanies and gloves! We had our first Gather n Grace Family Christas at All Things Acres. We sang praise and worship with Brett Johnson and Michelle Ancone, ate pie, and shared over $5000 worth of gifts that were donated by YOU!!!
As I reflected on the last year I got to see Jesus in others. I got to sit at the table, listen to stories, and share what God has done in our lives and for them too! Thanks to all of y’all we were able to serve 10,000 people through family dinner, food assistance, prayer, utility and rental assistance, clothing and so much more! Here’s to 2024 and what God has in store, our hands are open and ready.
November 2023
What a fabulous month! The Heritage Junior Belles joined us one night to serve over 200, pizza and cookies! Loved watching them interact with the kiddos! The following week the Brenham Brenadier Dance Team joined us to serve and dance for everyone, they did great! That same night family members began to bring unwrapped toys for our partnership with Toys for Tots! Then, the best Thanksgiving came! We had volunteers show up to host, serve and decor 18 tables at Faith Mission’s The Cannery. We got to serve 600 meals through outbound, inbound and to go meals. We served turkey and gravy, my granny’s cornbread stuffing and giblet gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, rolls, cinnamon butter and pies. The last Monday of November was chilly so we had yummy beef stew and cornbread. So thankful for you, and watching Him move through all of us! We got to serve over 1000 family members this month.
October 2023
October was a fun month! Our first fall in the park, so we weren’t sure what to expect! It was FABULOUS! We partnered with Mariachi’s Mexican Restaurant and they provided dinner. Kristie and Hunter Smith provided the most amazing pulled pork tacos, beans and dessert for Halloween. We hosted our first Halloween Costume Contest and picked the cutest, scariest and most creative winners. October was also Down’s Syndrome Awareness Month so local kiddos and parents came to serve, they loved it so much. Mom’s of America joined us too and served with us. We’ve loved getting to know more about local organizations through Monday Family Dinner. Of course, we had to celebrate birthday’s too! We got to serve over 850 family members during the month of October!
September 2023
September was our 1 year anniversary of family dinner and we celebrated! We got serve over 500 amazing community members. All the first responders showed up with their firetrucks, police cars and EMS vehicles! We even had the life flight helicopter show up! Brenham Pregnancy Center set up a table and donated diapers to families. Jack Carr entertained us with patriotic music on his saxophone. Marlon Farr joined us with his trumpet and played TAPS. Face painting, flying carousels, Blue Bell Ice Cream, Cookies donated from local churches and yummy burgers! Thanks to Old 300 Title, Cross Country Mortgage and Gooseneck Freitas Insurance Agency for sponsoring the meal! It was a wonderful celebration…a little heaven on earth.
The rest of the September was full of partnering! Mariachi’s kindly sponsored one evening, Adam’s Angels joined us in serving and sponsoring a dinner, Diaper and Wipes drive for a Community Wide Baby Shower, and celebrated birthdays! Over the month we got to serve 1000 amazing family members!
August 2023
We took a little break in August to get caught up, ready for our One year anniversary party on 9/11/23, and get the ball rolling for events in the fall and winter! It was a sweet time, and we sure missed y’all!
We came back at the end of August and got to serve a couple hundred, assist in financial assistance of electric bills, provide casseroles as meals, and assist in school supplies for the Brenham football team. We are excited what God has for us the remainder of 2023!
July 2023
Phew it was HOT!!! But, that didn’t stop y’all from coming out!! We got to serve nearly 1000 people this month!
Partnered with Twisted Oak Pizza Truck and served 200 pizza’s! Kona Ice Brenham/Bellville was gracious and donated 200 snow cones. Tiki Snow Cones and Sweets served over 500 snow cones and a generous donor paid for a portion!
We passed out bibles, celebrated birthdays, played games, bubbles and lots of prayer. Generous donors opened the Carousel for two dinners!
Grateful for the volunteers that have showed up every week to serve. The army is rising. The Class of 2027 Boys Baseball Team and Mama’s raised $600 and helped serve 200, what joy to see the boys serve BIG!
Because of y’all’s generous donations we were able to help a family with an electric bill, assist with 200 Kinder Mats for Brenham ISD ECLC, gas for a mama’s suburban, provide a new bike and apartment essentials for a NEW COLLEGE KIDDO!!
June 2023
We went right into summer from school!! June was a short month of Monday’s, with only 3 nights!
The first week of June the South Central Board of Realtors donated, and served the meal! We got to just show up and love on people! It was beautiful.
Thanks to the men of St. Matthew’s Luthern Church of Brenham, Tx for coming out to serve. Taco Salad and Nacho Bar seems to be everyone’s favorite!
The last week of June we had some neighbors gather their friends to serve dinner. We did BBQ chicken and watermelon, so good!
We celebrated June birthday’s with cake and a song. Met lots of new families, bibles passed out, and opportunities for prayer!
Thanks for a month full of gathering around the table!! Your donations helped up serve 450 people!
May 2023
What a month! It was a whirlwind! We loved teaming up with Brenham Game Changers, and Adult Teen Challenge! Thank y’all for coming out to serve!
Thanks to Life is What You Bake it for donating cookies, Mariach’s for donating rice & beans, and Domino’s for discounting 100 pizzas!
We celebrated BIG at the end of the month with birthday cake & Bingo for all the May birthday’s! We even celebrated a graduation party for a kiddo that’s been showing up to family dinner!
Passed out 50 bibles!
Thanks to y’all this month we were able to serve 650 meals, fill a mama’s suburban up with gas (twice), help a young man acquire an apartment, pay a single mama’s car insurance, help a couple pay electric bill and car payment!

April 2023
It was an amazing month of colliding with churches and businesses to love on the community of BRENHAM!
On April 3rd, we served 300 hamburgers, hid 1200 Easter eggs, and donate $250 to CASA for Kids Southwest
Maifest was having practice in the park so everyone got to enjoy burgers during practice!
One night we served 75 hot dogs and homemade chili!
Teamed up with Twisted Oaks Pizza Trailer and made 100 hand tossed pizzas, that’s 400 slices served
One night we served 150 bbq chicken, green beans, and mashed potatoes, we nearly ran out!
